Born in Istanbul in 1948, Ahmet Kamil Erciyas finished Kabataş High School and after in 1971, he graduated from Istanbul Technical University with a degree in MSc Metallurgical Engineering.
Between 1972-1977, he worked at Mannesmann - Sümerbank Pipe Co. as Chief of Quality Control and Product Manager.
He was appointed as Production Manager at Beldesan Co. in 1977. The following year, 1978, he started up Kalibre Pipe Co. as founding member.
In 1990, he became a founding member of Erciyas Steel Pipe Co., Erciyas Industry Pipe Trade and Commitment Co., and Erciyas Pipe Foreign Trade Co.
Ahmet Erciyas established Erciyas Holding, composed of Erciyas Steel Pipe, Bimas Bicycle Motorcycle, Briza Wind, Erciyas Energy, Argaios Turism and Yachting, Çelikler Pipe, as of 1 March 2015. He is, still, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Erciyas Holding.
He is the Chairman of the CEBID, Turkish Steel Pipe Manufacturers Association. Board Member of the CİB Steel Exporters Association.TÜSİAD (Turkish Industrialists' and Businessmen's association), İMMİB (General Secretariat of Istanbul Mineral and Metals Exporters' Association), the Karaköy Rotary Club, Istanbul Sailing Club and TMMOB (Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects) are just some of the associations which he is member of.
Ahmet Kamil Erciyas is married and has two children.
K. Emre Erciyas, born in 1983, is the Vice Chairman of Erciyas Holding Co. After finishing FMV Nişantaşı Işık High School (2001), Istanbul, he received his BSc. in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Sabanci University, Istanbul, (2006), followed by his MBT from University of California, Berkeley,CA. (2009).

İsmail Tamer Altılar was born in 1943 in Uşak. After graduation from Denizli High School, he attended Istanbul Technical University (ITU Technical School), from which he graduated as a Chemical Engineer in 1964.
He began to work as an Industrial Engineer at Sümerbank Eskişehir Textile Printing Factory in 1966; he continued at SEKA (Turkish Pulp and Paper Industry) Izmit facilities in 1967 as a production engineer
While working as Production Manager, he received a scholarship from the Norwegian Government in 1974. He, then, went to Trondheim Technical University in Norway to study "Pulp and Paper Technology" for one year. When he returned to Turkey in 1975, he began working as the Technical Director at SEKA Dalaman Facilities, and from 1977 to 1980, he served as Mill Director.
He left his job at SEKA to work in the private sector, where he got a position as Board Mill Director at Kartonsan Co. in 1980. He served as Assistant General Director of Kartonsan Co. in 1984 and in 1997, he became General Director, a position he held until 2001.
Through the investment and development projects he personally directed during his administration, the 100t/day cardboard production capacity of Kartonsan Co. had reached 500t/day by the time he left. Kartonsan thus became one of the top five companies in the sector in Europe in terms of quality and capacity.
Leaving in 2001, he founded ALKON Consulting and Engineering ltd. and began providing consultancy services. He has managed various projects in Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Bosnia Herzegovina.
He conducted a development existing paper mill and Tissue project at the Riyadh Gulf Paper Factory in Saudi Arabia. He began and completed the 60,000t/year-capacity Hayat Tissue Paper Mill (Papia) project in Turkey as a Green Field project. He managed the modernization and capacity enhancing of "Natron-Maglaj" Pulp and Paper Mills, having lain idle since the war in 1992, located in Bosnia and Herzegovina which, later called as "Natron-Hayat", to enable it to begin operations once again.
Ismail Tamer Altılar, who has served as the member of the board of directors at Erciyas Steel Pipe Co. and Bimaş Bicycle Motorcycle Co. since 2002, is married with Günay Altılar and has three daughters and two grandchildren.
An active member of TAPPI (International Technical Association of Pulp & Paper Industry), and various civil society organizations working including The Rotary Club, İsmail Tamer Altılar has written a book entitled "Odun ve Selüloz Kimyası" (Wood and Pulp Chemistry), which was published in 1980.
Mr. Burhan Karaçam is most recognized for his leadership roles in strategic planning and innovation in the Turkish banking sector. Indeed, his successful initiatives in the banking sector were embraced as best practices across many sectors, catalyzing the rapid adoption of professional management and corporate governance concepts throughout the Turkish business community.
After graduating from the Boğaziçi University Business School (formerly known as Robert College) in 1972, Karaçam left for London to start his professional career at Arthur Andersen. Three years later, he returned to Turkey as a local partner to set up Arthur Andersen’s Istanbul office after which he rejoined Andersen’s London office through to 1981.
Karaçam’s banking career was launched in 1981 with his first role as a Deputy General Manager for Pamukbank, a subsidiary of the Çukurova Group in Turkey, quickly followed by his role as CEO for Egebank in 1984. In 1987, Karaçam returned to the Çukurova Group to accept the role of CEO for Yapı Kredi Bank as well as serve as a member of the Çukurova Holding Board of Directors and Executive Committee through 1999.
In Yapı Kredi, as the leader of the management team he joined in 1987, he launched an ambitious modernization program with an aim to set up a totally customer-driven organization which transformed YK to be the market leader in consumer banking and a very active player in capital markets, corporate and international businesses. Under Karaçam’s stewardship, Yapı Kredi matured into one of Turkey’s leading companies, spurring the economy through its financial performance as well as its visionary investments in technology namely, Turkcell and Superonline, and tourism.
In March 1999, Karaçam resigned from Yapı Kredi Bank and the Çukurova Group to establish his own business strategy design and implementation consultancy company under the name of BK Partnership .
By March 2000, Karaçam assumed the role of Executive Chairman for Koçbank and the other financial subsidiaries of the Koç Group with the primary goal to restructure each of them in pursuit of a strategic partnership with a leading international financial institution.By the end of 2002, Karaçam designed and structured a successful deal between UniCredito of Italy and the Koç Financial Services Group.
Karaçam continues his consulting role at BK Partnership and is currently involved with projects mainly in the finance, real estate, agro business and various manufacturing sectors.
Mustafa Özbey was born in Ankara in 1946.
He entered the Naval High School in 1960 and joined the Navy in 1967 with the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade. After completing his training at the Naval War Academy through 1974 - 1976, he started his new assignment at the TGS Plans and Policy Division as Staff officer. He continued to attend advanced training programs both in Turkey and abroad between 1976 and 1992 and served at NATO Headquarters in Brussels as Force Planning Officer for three years. He also served as Commander and Commodore of Frigates.
He was promoted to the rank of Rear Admiral in 1992. He served as the Chiefof Naval Plans and Principles Division in Turkish Naval Forces Command, and assumed command of Fast Patrol Boatst Fleet.
After being promoted to Senior Rear Admiral in 1996, he served as Depatment Head of the TGS's Greece-Cyprus Office. He than assumed Mine Fleet Commander and Chief of Staff of Turkish Naval Fleet positions at the same rank. He retired in 2001 by his own request.
Since than, he worked as consultant and executive in private sector companies, has been a member of the Board of Directors of Erciyas Steel Pipe Co. and the partner of Hydromx International. He is also a member of the Global Relations Forum.
Teoman Doğan was born in 23 May 1955. He attended Yıldız Technical University, where he received his bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and masters in Heat Processes Technique.
In 1978, he began his career at Badger/Pan American at Tüpraş construction site, where he held various management positions. Later, he has worked in various managing positions respectively in Turk Pirelli Tires and Brisa Bridgestone Tires.
Continuing his career as a General Coordinator at Erdem Holding Group since 2000 Teoman Doğan involved in the organization structuring of Adapazarı Gas Distribution Co. and carried out initial investments.
After joining the Erciyas group of Companies in 2004, he was appointed to the position of General manager in 2005 and began his duties as a member of the Board of Directors of Erciyas Steel Pipe Co. In addition he also carries out his duties on the Board of Director of Group Companies.
Teoman Doğan is married and has two children.
The son of Chief Vet. Colonel Mehmet Işın, Taner Işın was born on 12 July 1946 in Istanbul. His father being an officer thus, he finished primary school at Elazığ, junior high school at Izmir and high school at Istanbul Marmara College.
He studied Mechanical Engineering at Istanbul Technical University, from which he graduated from in 1971.
While continuing his studies in the university, he began working at Gürmal Valve and Fittings Ind. Co. He was asked by the company to coordinate investment incentives and investments in exporting. He was successful in producing valves and pipe bends in Karamürsel, İzmit and exported the first flange to Germany.
He founded his own company, Işın Trade in 1971. He exported Onyx Marble souvenir items and imported and marketed SKF, FAG and INA ball bearings.
In 1975 he founded Dirsan Pipe Fittings Ind. Co., where he served as Chairman and CEO.
He ran the only authorized dealership of Gürmal Co. and Çelik Dirsek Industry Ltd.
In 1984 he founded Çelik Dirsek Industry Co. and served as the Chairman and General Manager until 1996.
At Çelik Dirsek, he produced steel pipe bends, meeting 85% of Turkey's needs.
He served on the Board of Directors of TÖSYÖV (The Turkish Foundation for Small and Medium-sized Businesses) Istanbul office in 1994.
Since 1996, he has been a member of the Executive Committee of the Erciyas Group of Companies.
He has been on the Board of Directors of two members of this Group, Bimaş Bicycle Motorcycle Co. and Erciyas Marketing Co., since 2000.
Since 2008, he is a member of the Board of Directors of Erciyas Steel Pipe Co.
Taner Işın is married to Ayşe Işın since 1970 and he has two sons.
